when Ali had reemerge from the barrier, her grandfather's soliders where there looking for her. and now she was in her suite, sitting at her vanity, gingerly touching her bruised cheek and lip. While she is sitting there, she hears a low whistle. She smiles and goes out to her balcony, looking around as a figure comes out from the shadows

"Where were you?" Omar asks, standing behind her, gently turning her around to look at him, and frowns "are you ok?!"

hugs her best friend and uncle "you wouldnt believe me if I told you...and you shouldnt be here....you know Rajesh doesnt like you...and daddy...' she fades off, resting her head against his shoulder

but momma...I was looking for plants for my herbology lesson with Uncle Zarif, and it just so happened that one of the plants I was looking for was right at the edge of the barrier
