A private academy located in Alder City, the school is responsible for training the young royals of Mysthaven for their future roles as leaders.  They also teach those blessed (or cursed) with magic.  

Students are separated into three categories.

Ages 10 to 16 are considered full time students and spend their time exclusively at the school being educated by Apprentices and Masters.

Ages 16-20 are considered Mentors.  They continue their lessons with more advanced studies and are trained by Masters.  They are also assigned to help with younger or new students.

The 20-25 age group are now known as Apprentices.  They now teach classes to younger students and assist Masters with running the school.  They also are apprenticed to members of the Mysthaven Council to begin their political careers.

The Headmaster of the school is Master Yen Sid.

Other masters include Master Merlin, Master Eragon and Mistress Blue.
